This instrument has been owned by the Landeskreditbank Baden-Wuerttemberg since 1989. In the sound example, the aforementioned Stardivari is played by Prof. Nachum Erlich. It is one of the most valuable violins in the world and achieved a price of 4.3 million euros.
In this recording, Prof. Nachim Erlich plays a copy of another Stradivarius from my workshop, which I made for a customer in 2015. The architecture, outline and varnish quality were taken from the Stradivarius "Hämmerle" from 1709. It is an instrument from the golden era that I had as an original during my time in Paris.
