secrets of old Italian and French string instruments.<\/p>\n<p>The good news: studies and blind tests (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzz.ch\/folio\/erkennen-geiger-eine-stradivari-ld.1622470\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NZZ from 29.8.2016<\/a>) show that modern violin making produces \"young\" instruments that have the same sound quality as their \"older\" relatives.<\/p>\n<p>These sound comparisons are not about \"better or worse\", but rather about being able to convey emotions excellently on both instruments.<\/p>\n<p>On the following pages<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nachum Erlich
